Hello and welcome to my blog, Jess B Creative "Card"-iology! Today I'm participating in a blog hop with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as part of our my friend Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program. This is our first blog hop of the new Stampin' Up! year together - our business year runs October 2019 - September 2020 - and I'm excited to team up with these talented designers to see what inspiring creations we all make!
My card was inspired by the beautiful Autumn day we're having here in upstate NY as well as the gathering of the creative minds of our new Demonstrator Training Program participants. You can see some of the leaves that have fallen and scattered all around my yard in the photo below.
And here's a close-up photo of the card so you can see the design elements more clearly. I matted a piece of Come to Gather Designer Series Paper on an Early Espresso card base. Then I punched out 7 sprigs of Merry Merlot cardstock, die cut 6 Pretty Peacock leaves, stamped and punched out 6 Pear Pizazz leaves - and arranged them all in a wreath around a circle cut from Whisper White cardstock with the Stitched Shapes Dies using Mini Glue Dots to keep them all in place. I stamped the pumpkins in Cajun Craze ink and then colored them in with my Cajun Craze and Soft Suede Blends. I stamped the sentiment in Early Espresso ink.
Sometimes the card we envision in our heads doesn't always work out on paper, but I'm pleased with the way this card came together - and it was actually pretty quick to make!
I hope you've enjoyed visiting my blog, Jess B Creative "Card"-iology, today and will continue on to visit the blogs of the other Training Program participants to see their amazing projects too!
