Hello and welcome to my blog, Jess B Creative "Card"-iology! Today I'm participating in a blog hop with other Stampin' Up! Demonstrators from around the world as part of our my friend Kylie's Demonstrator Training Program.
I created this project I'm calling the Grapefruit Grove Lotus Blossom Card using the new Lovely Lily Pad Stamp Set, Lily Pad Dies, and Lily Impressions Designer Series Paper - all part of Stampin' Up!'s Free Sale A Bration offerings during January - March 2020. The colors are so subtle and pretty! And I love the intricacy of the die cut layered over the stamped lotus flower.
I first adhered a strip of the Lily Impressions DSP to the card base, and then popped the Pool Party cardstock panels up with Stampin' Dimensionals to allow the Lily DSP to peek through. Then I stamped the Lotus Blossom in Grapefruit Grove ink onto Petal Pink cardstock, die cut the image, and then adhered it to the card with Stampin' Dimensionals as well. I adhered the intricate die cut layer overtop of the flower using just a few mini glue dots.
