Welcome to our Creative Cardiology Team October 2021 Autumn Blog Hop! Autumn is probably my favorite season. I love the comfortable temperatures, the beautiful colors, and the warm comfort foods. And I love all the beautiful Autumn themed Designer Series Papers Stampin' Up! has available this year!
Since I seem to be on a Pumpkin themed kick this week I chose to use the Pretty Pumpkins Bundle again but this time instead of the Harvest Meadow DSP I paired it with the Beauty of the Earth DSP - both are gorgeous!
I centered the pumpkin trio on a stitched label from the Tasteful Labels Dies, popped them up with Stampin' Dimensionals, and then added a little Wink of Stella to the pumpkins to give them a bit of sparkle.
I recently discovered that the Denim Ribbon is still currently available from SU! in the online store - even though it's not listed in the catalog. Just like your favorite pair of jeans - this Denim Ribbon goes with everything and will soon be your go-to for accessorizing all your paper craft projects!

If you watched my YouTube Tuesday video this week (you can see it here) then you'll know we talked a lot about our favorite pumpkin baked goods. I said I'd share my favorite pumpkin cookie recipe - so here it is! Enjoy!!
SOFT
PUMPKIN DROPS (shared with me by my cousin Jolene from her friend Alyssa)
1 cup sugar
1 cup canned pumpkin
1/2 cup shortening (crisco)
2 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt
1 bag chocolate chips
Heat oven to 375 degrees. Mix sugar, pumpkin and shortening. Stir
in flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Mix in chocolate
chips. Drop by rounded teaspoonful (or melon baller, lol) 2 inches apart
onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown ~ 8 to 10
minutes. Cool.
