Apple Harvest Book Binding Chalkboard Card Stampin' Up! for the Creative Cardiology Team September 2022 Perfect Partners Blog Hop
Welcome to our Creative Cardiology Team September 2022 Blog Hop! This month we're sharing projects featuring bundles from Stampin' Up!'s "Perfect Partners" collection available for a limited time only through September 30th. My favorite bundle is Apple Harvest! Fall is in the air here in upstate NY and that means apple season is upon us too!
I've been wanting to try out the book binding fold and thought it would be fun to combine it with a twist on the chalkboard technique for a fun "back to school/teacher appreciation" card.
To achieve the chalkboard look I ran the Basic Black cardstock through the Timeworn Type embossing folder and then used a sponge dauber to rub White Craft Ink across it. I love the texture of the embossed font and the look of chalk dust the craft ink gives! I hope you'll give it a try too!
