Tea for Two on Tuesday for the Greek Isles Trip Achievers Blog Hop
Welcome to the Stampin' Up! Greek Isles Trip Achievers March 2019 Blog Hop! Our theme this month is Sale a Bration and the Occasions Catalog so I've pulled out some of my favorite items from each catalog.
It just so happens that today is also Tea for Two Tuesday! Apparently this is an event celebrated by tea drinkers around the world on the third Tuesday in March. Each morning I start my day with a cup of hot peppermint tea. And while I did drink that alone - I invite you to enjoy this card with two cups of tea on me.
I stamped the Tea Together tea cups from the Occasions Catalog onto a floral sheet of Painted Seasons DSP (Free Sale A Bration item!) so that the Poppy Parade flower would be near the center of the cup and die cut them with the Tea Time framelits dies (another Free Sale A Bration item!). Of course, being Tea for Two Tuesday, I had to feature two tea cups!
I stamped the sentiment in Poppy Parade ink onto Whisper White cardstock and popped it out with my 1 1/4" circle punch. It definitely needed something more so I punched a Pretty Label from Poppy Parade cardstock and added the stitching detail by running it through the Big Shot with my Needlepoint Elements thinlits. The punched leaves in Call Me Clover added just the bit of color contrast I was looking for.
