Stampin' Up! Beautiful Moments on the Beach for the Stamper's Showcase May 2020 Blog Hop

 Welcome to the Stamper's Showcase May 2020 Blog Hop!  This month our theme is Summertime.  I love all things summertime and I think it's because the season is so short here in NY.  We actually had snow two weeks ago, and then this week we're experiencing above average high temperatures.  For me, summertime is all about spending time outdoors with friends & family enjoying the sunshine and the beautiful lake views of the Fingerlakes Region of NY.

I chose to use the Beautiful Moments stamp set with its sweet sketched images and lovely sentiments.  I thought the image of these two little girls collecting seashells along the waters edge perfectly showcased what summertime is all about.  

 For the first card I used the Best Dressed and Peaceful Poppies Designer Series Papers to create a bright Summer floral card.  Then I had the idea to create a more nautical variation using the Come Sail Away Designer Series Papers, and I really like how that turned out!  I even recorded a quick video tutorial to show I made these cards!  You can view it at: https://youtu.be/Q4KYBZJaEP4
